Hi, I’m Jed
Ponies ‘n’ Pals
Who am I?
Jed set up Ponies ‘n’ Pals to combine a lifelong passion for horses and a desire to give young people the opportunity to experience horses in a fun and accessible way.
Jed has worked with horses for the last 9 years. More specifically, over the last 5 years he has worked as a rehab assistant for children and young adults with special needs. Through this work, he has seen how horses can develop people’s confidence and self-esteem, whilst helping them find the happiness and well-being horses can provide.
Working alongside children & young adults with special needs ignited his passion to help those who find difficulty engaging with the wider world to feel a sense of responsibility and care about another creature.
On a personal level, coming into horse riding at the age of 15, Jed worked hard to achieve a high standard across disciplines. Leading to him excelling in competing in British Showjumping.
Using natural horsemanship, Jed works with his horses to ensure they feel comfortable in any situation, and are able to perform to the best of their abilities. Happy horses are very important, so their welfare is Jed’s top priority!

What We Need…
If you don’t have all of the things below, in our experience sometimes a local village hall or community centre may have some outdoor space where they would allow you to have your pony party.

Our Packages are for a maximum of 7 to 15 children. Should you require a larger group please contact us to arrange a bespoke package.
🥕 Place For Party
A reasonable size garden or similar quiet area for the party to take place.
Room to park and turn a small horsebox so the ponies may be unloaded safely. Sometimes a local village hall or community centre may have some outside space and be willing to allow a pony party if your garden is unsuitable.
